WHEN TO TRAVEL?

Peak season (spring/autumn):
The ideal time to visit is from September to November, when nature is beautifully coming to life (and for those who enjoy warmer weather, even the beginning of December can be a great option), or from February to May, when temperatures are very pleasant and the weather is generally stable.

African winter (June–August):
You can experience a mild winter, with temperatures occasionally dropping close to freezing at night. However, this period often offers the very best conditions for wildlife viewing in the bush, as the grass is shorter and animals gather around waterholes.
