When to travel:
The ideal periods are September–November, when nature comes alive after winter, and February–May, offering pleasant summer temperatures. However, the African winter months (June–August) should not be overlooked – with shorter grass and wildlife gathering around waterholes, it often provides some of the best conditions for game viewing.
